It weighs about 3.8kg, so isn't particularly heavy for a Les Paul, but still has good levels of sustain and the neck plays really nicely with plenty of life left in the frets.

  • Gotoh style tuners (not 100% these are original Gotoh's, but say Made In Japan and are of decent quality).
  • It's essentially an ESP Eclipse-a-like with the following: Having taken back out of storage alongside the strat, I just can't seem to get on with the scale length having played Fenders for too many years now, and hence it's time to move on.

This is another one that I picked up years ago with plans to put a set of high-end buckers in, maybe upgrade the electronics and never got round to. One more for sale - this time a 2002 Greco LG-70. I also have a box and tons of bubble wrap for posting - happy to arrange at cost. Price-wise, I don't really know where to put this one, but think £550 is fair, given the age / condition? I'm based in Epsom and have a couple of nice amps to play through if you want to come and try out. I've tried to show as accurate a picture of the guitar as possible. I think the kind thing to say is that it's lived a life to this point and certainly hasn't been a case queen.

In terms of paintwork, this is where it gets interesting - there's knocks, dings, paint chips, marring all over.

The body, I believe, is alder - it's certainly light enough - and would be consistent with the guitar being a ST57-70 as per the US pickups ( ). Otherwise it's a 21 fret, 7.25" radius, 1 piece neck. Some of the fret ends are running on the sharp side, so could do with a dress. The neck is maple - it looks as if it's had some battles in it's time in certain places, but places really well. All electronics are original, as is the bridge / block. The pickguard is an aftermarket 11 hole tortoiseshell - I have the original 8 hole white one in the gig bag, just yet to put it back on. This is a 1992 MIJ Strat, it's of the ST-57 variety, and I believe it has US made pickups in it. Unfortunately, I never got that far and this has been in storage ever since, so I would still describe this as a project guitar (or naturally relic'd, if that's your sort of thing). Next up on the block is something I got from a friend a while back with an idea to completely refinishing in sherwood green and turning into a something really lovely.
